Celcom GPRS Setting

Step 1 : Select "Entertainment"
Step 2 : Select "Service"
Step 3 : Select "Data Account"
Step 4 : Select "GPRS" then select any of the "Account"
Step 5 : Select "Edit"
Step 6 : Enter following data :
1. Account Name : celcom3G
2. APN : celcom3g
3. User name :
4. Password :
5. Auth. Type : Normal
Step 7 : After the setting completed, select "Back" 2x


Step 1 : Select "Entertainment"
Step 2 : Select "Service"
Step 3 : Select "WAP" then select "Setting"
Step 4 : Select "Edit Profile"
Step 5 : Select any of the profile
Step 6 : Select "Edit Profile"
Step 7 : GPRS Setting :
1. Rename Profile : Celcom 3G
2. Homepage Setting : http://3g.celcom.net.my
3. Data Account : celcom3g
4. Select "Connection Type" then select "HTTP" then select "OK"
- Proxy Address : 010.128.001.242
- Proxy Port : 8080
5. User name :
6. Password :

Step 1 : Select "PIM"
Step 2 : Select "Messages"
Step 3 : Select "MMS"
Step 4 : Select "Message Settings"
Step 5 : Select "Server Profile"
Step 6 : Select ,press "OK" then select "Edit Profile"
Step 7 : MMS Setting :
1. Rename Profile : Celcom 3G
2. Homepage : http://mms.celcom.net.my
3. Data Account : Celcom3G
4. Connection Type : select "HTTP" then select "OK"
- Proxy Address : 010.128.001.242
- Proxy Port : 8080
5. User name :

WiFi Settings for Blackberry 8900

If some of you are having problems to access a wireless network on your Blackberry 8900 Clone (China) please use the following settings:

• 1)Go to SERVICES using MENU (the globe with line circling it) (do not go directly to the globe on standby mode coz that's the browser)
• 2) Click WAP
• 3) Scroll all the way down to SETTINGS
• 4) Select PROFILES (not select sim)
• 5) Then after you selected it, you will see SIM 1 and SIM 2
• 6) Just select both SIM then set it to WIFI (WIFI is located all the way down)
• 7) Then MENU select the WIRELESS LAN select the "SEARCH FOR NETWORKS" to detect if there's any wifi available
• 8) Once detected, select connect.. if connected
• 9) Exit to standby mode the select the GLOBE WITH THE LINE that's the opera mini browser.. and you're good to go..
• 10) For the other browser, go to MENU
• 11) JAVA then JAVA again then you'll see the OPERA MINI, eBUDDY, YAMEE, FACEBOOK..

I think when you go to this selection it's kind of slower.. unlike the opera mini.. either way it still connects you to the internet..

By the way prince red, i didnt change the default homepage and it still works.. i use SUN and GLOBE sims
doesnt matter as long as you're using wifi settings.. i think they will only charge you if your using the GPRS for browsing ........................
